HOME RENOVATION INTERIOR DESIGN IN LEEDS
Plan the interiors before the builders start
A renovation or extension is the best chance you’ll have to get your home exactly right. Walls can move, sockets can go where you actually need them, and storage can be built in rather than added later. But once the plaster is on, every change costs more.
We work with homeowners across Leeds and Yorkshire who are planning renovations, extensions and loft conversions, so that layouts, lighting and finishes are decided before work begins, and the finished space feels designed rather than just built.
Why involve an interior designer in your renovation?
- Avoid costly changes later: sockets, switches, radiators and lighting are planned around where your furniture will actually go
- Layouts that work: rooms planned around how you live, not just where the walls end up
- Built-in storage: joinery designed into the build, not squeezed in afterwards
- A clearer brief for your builder: fewer questions on site and fewer surprises
- Finishes chosen in time: flooring, tiles and fittings ordered early, so nothing holds up the trades
What we provide
- Space planning and layout drawings
- Lighting and electrical layouts showing where sockets, switches and fittings should go
- Joinery designs for built-in storage, window seats, alcoves and feature walls
- Material and finish selections for flooring, tiles, paint, hardware, and kitchen and bathroom finishes
- Coordination with your builder and trades
- Furniture, lighting and final styling once the building work is complete
When to bring us in
The earlier, the better: ideally before your builder finalises the quote.
- Planning stage: we design the layout, lighting and joinery, and select finishes.
- During the build: we’re on hand for decisions that come up on site, and keep finishes on schedule.
- After the build: we furnish and style the space, so it’s finished properly rather than left half-done.

Frequently asked questions
Do you replace our architect or builder?
No. Your architect handles the structure and any planning permission, and your builder carries out the work. We design the interiors and work alongside both.
Can you help with an extension or loft conversion?
Yes. We plan the layout, lighting, joinery and finishes, so the new space works from day one.
How much does interior design add to a renovation?
It depends on the size of the project and the level of service. Good planning often avoids expensive changes during the build. After a first consultation, we’ll give you a clear quote.
Do we need full project management?
Not necessarily. With our design-only service, we provide the drawings and selections, and you and your builder take it from there.
